"Werrrrre Back"
Well we made it! We are all safe and alive, we all still have our hair and Robert will not have to have surgery for vacation elbow. The girls did very well considering we logged 1000 miles on the trip (Robert was so excited to use the trip meter on the car) the trip meter rolled over the 1000 mark just as we were passing the red narrows in Spanish Fork canyon WOO HOO we were all really ecstatic for this momentous occasion, I mean 1000 miles in a car with three other people that's reason to celebrate. Just to outline the trip a little we decided to drive the longest distances first so that meant making our way all the way to little Bluff, UT. Permanent resident population is 250. The girls were so excited when we pulled into the lodge, as well as were Robert and I we really didn't know what to expect, I mean when you research this stuff on the internet how do you really know what your getting. Anywho, Bluff, UT has some very old structures and formations right there within the city. They have about a dozen historical homes including one from the original pioneer settlers that has been restored and is being lived in. Several others are in somewhat disrepair but are on the list to be restored, way cool in my book. The formation on the other hand was not expected, we had an idea that something was there from the map(which the girls were keeping very accurate track of) but out of the blue around the corner came these "Twins" WOW as you can see from the photo we were able to get very close to these formation which was a great opening to our trip. I am posting some pictures of our first day and will post more about it later as for now I'm signing off it has been a very long day.
